Neurotechnology releases tri-modal products

Neurotechnology, a developer of biometric systems, has released new versions of its software development kits (SDKs) utilizing fingerprint, iris, face and combinations of the three modes offering enhancements in operations, reliability and user-friendliness. Some of the larger standouts to its enhancements include the face and fingerprint biometric system MegaMatcher now enabling up to 40,000 per-second fingerprint matching as well as an upgrade to their iris-recognition SDK VeriEye that allows it to be utilized as an add-on to the Mega Matcher system resulting in a three-factor biometric system. In addition to the ability of utilizing all three modes in one system, Neurotechnology officials report that the system can also require a user submit multiple samples of each mode for authentication, such as two irises or multiple fingerprints, further increasing the reliability of the system. All the company's SDKs are also compatible with a number of camera and scanner systems allowing them to be utilized in a variety of functions.
